Ry's new obsessions

1) Ryenn dancing about with a pot on her head... 2) a close-up

Ryenn enjoys doing a great many things, and she can be quite dramatic. We have seen her go through many phases....like the evil stare (that doesn't happen very often anymore. Her two favorite pastimes are putting a blanket on Avery. It is like the dog is perpetually cold. I find this latest game very annoying. When I search for a blanket to cover her it is always covered in dog hair! Covered!!
1) Ry pushing cousin Vicki's kitty on a toy stroller 2) Ry and the stray....please ignore how filthy Ry is

We have also semi-adopted a cat. This little grey cat comes to our house at night, and occasionally during the day. So, if this cat is anywhere near Ryenn has to play with the thing. It is sorta cool since it hangs out on our window seal, and wit will follow your hand all about. The sad thing is that Avery doesn't like the cat. (something about she being a dog...and the cat being well a cat)

We also had a birthday celebration for Ron (february), Liz (march), and I (march) at Ida and Stan's house. It was nice for all of us to get together. We learned that Daniel (um...john's second oldest brother...if i haven't mentioned him before) and his girlfriend are getting married in April. Travis will be returning one day before the wedding, and all of us will be apart of it. Ryenn is even going to be a flower girl. I hope that she is up to the task...she isn't exactly old enough to follow simple instructions.

Win some, sadly lost one

So we had our first volleyball game yesterday. It was really fun and exciting. Lamely enough I had butterflies almost all afternoon before the game. We won the first game, lost the second by two, and lost the third by two. We could have won (and probably should have) but I think we were all suffering from first game jitters.

I was serving the ball into the stands (not too surprising). So when I tried to tone down the muscle I only succeeded in serving it into the net....or rather embarrassingly under the net. I did get some awsome hits though! My mom got an ace on her cute underhand serve! I purchased knee pads to save my poor legs, but I still managed to get a bruise! Oh well. It was so much fun. I even overheard that the team we played practices....so I guess if we did too we would be awesome. Hopefully my next report will be better.
